I believe we all have unique stories and experiences that, when shared, can help others grow into better versions of themselves. I Started Be Better at Volleyball with the goal of sharing my stories and the resources I’ve gathered along the way through sports, parenting, and everything in between. My inspiration comes from the many twists and turns my life has taken, and how sports have helped me turn inward and cultivate the deep self-awareness to help me navigate the ups and downs. With a strong passion for health and wellness, and a desire to constantly educate myself, I hope to use what I’ve learned to help others find strength and growth through their own daily challenges. Optimism and positivity can make a huge difference in how we respond to hard things, so I focus on how reframe my perspective whenever I can. Being cut from my college volleyball team due to injury could have derailed my passion and left me frustrated and upset. Instead, I gained a much deeper love and respect for the game, and more drive to pursue the things I love. Let’s connect on this journey to strengthen our minds and bodies while we navigate this life of beauty and challenge together.
