Spirit

It’s taken me a lifetime to become vulnerable, but I try to help my athletes learn to do that at a younger age than I did.” - Frank Amato
BE BETTER

Build Your Spirit

Our spirit is our energetic body and each of our energetic bodies makes up a collective universal energy that influences our perspective, performance, lives, and the world at large in powerful ways. As an athlete, I never realized how connected my spirit was to my performance on the court, the way that I related to my teammates and coaches, and how it could affect the enjoyment and outcome of my play. It wasn’t until I discovered yoga and reiki energy healing practices that I found an understanding for what I innately felt. When I was introduced to the Chakra system through my yoga practice, I learned ways to align and strengthen the energy in each of my chakras and through that developed a stronger bond with my body and mind and was able to connect with my highest path for my life. . The chakra system is made up of seven chakras - the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, crown. When these chakras are balanced there is a harmonious flow of energy throughout the body. To acknowledge that this spirit body exists requires vulnerability and trust but if we are brave enough to connect with it the results are powerful for our health, relationships, and athletic performance. It’s easy as an athlete to focus on our body and mind, but when we find alignment with our spirit, we are able to seek our highest potential on and off the court. If you work hard but still are not seeing the results you were hoping for, maybe it’s time to look at ways to align your spirit with your work ethic and see what happens. Here you will learn about ways to connect with your spirit through breath, movement, reiki and beyond so that you can align your vision and values and connect to your highest self.
